Fallout London "Atta-boy" handheld computer

This asset is the "Atta-Boy" handheld personal device for use within the Fallout : London community based project as a direct replacement for the iconic "Pip-Boy" as used in the original American Based Fallout series.

With Fallout : London's lore & design requirements a change to the conventional wrist worn device was swapped out for a hand-held unit.

My task was to create this asset from scratch taking inspiration from The original "Pip-Boy 2000" that is seen in the traditional top-down Fallout 1 & 2 games being displayed for all intensive purposes as a tablet computer more than a wrist worn device that is seen in the more 3d titles in the Fallout series.

For this asset I used the following process:

- Creation of high & low poly meshes with Blender.
- Texture creation using baking procedures with Substance 3d painter.
- 3ds Max for final game preparation, collision creation & export.
- Bethesda's Creation Kit to successfully implement the asset into the game.
- Bethesda's Fallout 4 for all in-game screenshots.

This device was previewed in the Fallout London's most recent gameplay trailer seen here:
